With the Vario L2 – the best just got better. Blue Chip Technology has evolved its popular Vario Lite digital signage player by improving the performance and shrinking the footprint. Using Athlon™ 64 single and dual core technology and integrated ATI Radeon Xpress1250 graphics, the Vario L2 delivers a winning combination of processing power, multimedia support and price.

Leveraging the latest high bandwidth technology such as Firewire, SATA, gigabit LAN and double data rate memory, Blue Chip Technology has raised the bar for overall system speed and efficiency. The onboard graphics support a maximum resolution of 2048x1536 @ 32bpp, HDTV content, MPEG 2, 4 and WMV9 hardware acceleration, ensuring a smooth playout. Display interfaces for VGA, DVI, HDMI and Component Video make the Vario L2 extremely flexible, additional connectivity is provided by four USB 2.0 ports and one COM port. An optional TV in configuration and 8 channel High Definition Audio complete the picture for a  fully versatile digital signage solution. 

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Vario L2 chassis is a ruggedised build, equipped to handle the 24/7 demands of signage applications. A compact footprint and universal bracket make it easy to install the player, including direct mounting to the display rear. Special features such as hardware system watchdog, industrial temperature ranges and high MTBF disk drives build reliability into each unit. Blue Chip manage production for platform stability and longevity, making the Vario L2 an essential, low maintenance building block for OOH media installations.

The unit is EMC tested, fully CE approved and covered by a standard one year warranty.

Vario Mounting
Vario L2, L3 and A1 Mounting Solution A cost effective solution for clients who require their signage engine mounted behind the LCD display. This bracket means displays up to 50" can have a Vario L3, L2 or Vario A1 sitting behind directly driving the content. Much cheaper than an all-in-one solution and offering ease of servicing, the mount makes sense in many digital signage applications. Security options are integrated; small locks and special allen bolts will stop all but determined thieves.
