The VARIO 2U is a powerful industrial grade digital signage player designed to drive large displays screens. Supporting the Intel® Core™2 Quad and Intel® Core™2 Duo processor range the Vario 2U digital signage player is perfect for 24/7 playout of demanding graphical content.

With its three available expansion slots, the Vario 2U digital signage player can support graphics intensive configurations for high-end video playout. The onboard graphics are powered by Intel’s G33 Express Chipset, including the integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 with Intel® Clear Video Technology. Additionally the PCI Express [x16] slot accommodates high performance graphics cards and multi head video outputs. Two further 32-bit PCI slots are available for additional add on cards such as video capture or high-end audio output.

Other features include Gigabit LAN, VGA interface, one serial port, eight USB (2.0) ports and a slim-line DVD RW optical drive. Multiple drive capacity supports RAID implementations. The Intel® High Definition Audio with 5.1 surround sound enables high quality integrated audio that rivals the performance of high-end discrete audio solutions.

Combining performance and quality, the Vario 2U digital signage player chassis is a rack mountable, ruggedised build, housed in a strong sheet-steel enclosure providing both mechanical and EMC protection. Special features such as wide operating temperature ranges and high MTBF disk drives build reliability into your digital signage installation. The Vario 2U is designed and manufactured in the UK, EMC tested and fully CE approved.
