The Scala 2U is a rackmount, high performance player with quadcore CPU options and PCI Express expansion for intensive video playout. The system can also accommodate video capture, multiple hard drives and RAID configurations. Other features include Gigabit LAN, VGA interface, one serial port, eight USB (2.0) ports and a slim-line DVD RW optical drive.
Combining performance and quality, the Scala 2U chassis is a rugged build, housed in a strong sheet-steel enclosure providing both mechanical and EMC protection.
