The PIO 48 is an ISA compatible half card that provides 48 programmable digital I/O channels. It is suitable for sensing the presence of or driving TTL connections only. There is provision for a set of on board pull up resistors to enable the board to be used to detect contact closures on push buttons, relay contacts etc.
All input/output lines are available on an industry standard 50 way D-type plug connector. A very versatile cost effective board.
