COM 965 is based around the Intel Core 2 Duo processor (Merom series), with the Mobile Intel GME965 and ICH8-M chipsets and dual channel DDR2 533/667 Memory up to 4GB with dual-slot SODIMM sockets. The VGA/ LCD controller is integrated with the Intel GME965 and supports CRT up to 2048 x 1536 (QXGA) @ 60Hz and LCD up to 2048 x 1536 (QXGA).
The COM-965 is PICMG COM Express compliant with a flexible expansion profile including one PCI-E x16 that is shared with two SDVO ports; three SATA-II ports, five PCI-E x1, four 32-bit PCI, one LPC bus, one SMBus and one I2C. Furthermore, this COM module also provides iAMT manageability and TPM1.2 features for an excellent security support running on Windows Vista Premium. Supported OS for the COM-965 is Windows Vista, Windows XP, 2000, XPe, Linux.
