The BCT-GVP20 PICMG is a full-length PICMG 1.0 card supporting 478 pin Pentium® or Celeron® processor options, 533/400MHz Front Side Bus and up to 2GB DDR SDRAM. Networking capability is provided by the on-board Intel® 82562EM Ethernet device, which supports 10/100 Mbps. This device can auto-negotiate network speeds and comes complete with drivers for most network environments.
Two high performance Enhanced IDE interfaces allow up to four IDE devices whilst four USB 2.0 ports support high performance peripherals. With the capacity to drive up to four external PCI slots, the board runs a high bandwidth data path for data-movement intensive functions. Further PCI and ISA slots can be accessed via the backplane. To complete the I/O capability, the specification includes floppy interface, two serial ports, Watch Dog Timer, parallel port, PS/2 controller and an optional audio plug-in card.
The BCT-GVP20 is compatible with most popular embedded operating systems including Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded and Linux.
