ETX COM MODULES

The ETX Computer combines the best of both worlds – an affordable yet customisable solution with a fast time to market. Measuring 114mm x 95mm, the ETX computer is based on a modular design which interfaces a standardised core processor ETX COM (Computer on Module) with a custom host board via four, low-profile surface mount connectors. The host board can be designed to any form factor and feature any connector layout. Additional I/O and application-specific subsystems may be integrated onto the host board similar to utilisation of PCI and ISA bus peripherals. The resulting ETX computer and host board is a competitive, tailor-made yet upgradable embedded solution.
